Our mission statement at White Mountain Country Club is “We’re your home in the mountains.” Besides the tall pine trees and cool weather, what makes our club unique is the way you feel once you enter the clubhouse. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Whether you sit inside in the dining area, at the bar or outside on the patio, the dress code of the club is casual and informal.
The clubhouse opens May 1st until the middle of October. Lunch is served daily from 11:00am to 3:00pm. We serve dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We have many themed club parties during season including the Opening Party and the Farewell Party.
The Golf course and Pro Shop usually open in mid April until October 31st (weather permitting). We have five major tournaments per year, Memorial Day Tournament, Ladies Invitational, Firecracker Tournament, Labor Day Tournament and the Stag Tournament. We also have smaller events during the season.
Our Youth Recreation Center (Rec Hall) opens Memorial Day weekend and closed Labor Day weekend as does the Snack Bar. We also have our Cub Camp for children 4 to 6 years of age. Cub Camp is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from June to the beginning of August.
Membership in White Mountain Country Club is by invitation only. The Club has memberships available at this time. All prospective members must be sponsored by two Equity members. We have 3 types of memberships:
Active Membership (Equity type) entitles use of all facilities for the member and his/her immediate family. The limit for Active membership at the club is 450, which we currently have. The price for Equity Membership varies. Please have your sponsors contact the office for current prices. Dues are currently $3350.00 per year.
Junior Membership is available for persons under 40 years of age. A Junior Member pays a $2,500.00 initiation fee and $3350.00 dues. This membership is non-transferable and has no voting rights. Once a Junior Member turns 40 years old he/she must purchase an Equity Membership.
Social Membership requires a $2,500.00 initiation fee and dues are currently $1675.00 per year. A Social Membership entitles use of the clubhouse, recreation center, tennis courts and is invited to all club social events. Social Members can golf up to 5 times per year, but will be charged green fees.
Dues are billed annually in January. White Mountain Country Club has no house minimums and has had only two assessments in the last 50 years. For further information regarding the club or membership please contact Donna Gates or Geoff Williams at 928-367-4357.
